BC ACE is hosting a student networking event at NYIT. Our board members will be at the event to introduce BC ACE and listen to you on your view of the future of energy conservation in BC. BC ACE offer educational and industry focused events free to our members and you can sign up as a student member for free. Our host and sponsor of the event, NYIT, will provide a short introduction to their graduate program on energy management.
British Columbia Advanced Conservation and Efficiency (BC ACE) is a non-profit association advocating for conservation and efficiency in our use of resources, and of promoting the industries that deliver this vital element of our economy, society and the environment. We are a voice for conservation and efficiency before provincial legislative and regulatory bodies and assist in the development and implementation of policies and practices that will support conservation and efficiency objectives within the province.
You can meet the following board members:
- Penny Cochrane - Penny is a senior consultant at CLEAResult, an energy management and engineering consultancy firm. She has focused her career on strategic and energy resource planning for utilities and large energy users. Penny is also a Director and Past Chair of the Pacific Energy Innovation Association.
- Len Horvath - Len is the President and owner of Quantum Lighting, Inc., a B.C.-based lighting design and electrical contracting firm, servicing the commercial and industrial building industry in western Canada. Len has over 45 years of experience in the industry involving building design, construction, operations and maintenance.
